KUSHTIA: A class-VIII student of Notun Kuri Ideal School in Hatboalia area of Kushtia’s Mipur upazila allegedly went missing. 

A General Diary (GD) was filed with Mirpur Police Station Saturday noon (April 21), regarding the incident. 

Masud Rana, 14, son of Abdul Khalek in Malihad union under the upazila, left home for school by a bicycle Thursday morning (April 20). He couldn’t be traced since then.

Shahidul Islam, brother of the boy, confirmed the news to Banglanews.

“(We) aren’t sure whether my brother has gone missing or has been abducted,” said Shahidul.
