BOGRA: A head teacher of Domargram Primary School was killed in Adamdighi upazila of Bogra. 

The deceased was identified as Abdur Rashid, 56, son of one late Ahmad Ali of Domargram. 

On information, police recovered his body on Friday morning (April 20). Two people were also detained in this connection. The detainees are- Abdur Razzak, son of Yusuf Ali of the same village and his wife Afroza Begum.

Locals said the head teacher did not return after leaving home on Thursday evening. Later on Friday, locals discovered his body lying in a eucalyptus garden and informed police.

Adamdighi police station officer-in-charge (OC) Abu Syed told Banglanews that initially it is being suspected that the teacher was strangled to death. The body is bearing several deep injury marks and also his penis was cut with a sharp weapon. However, the actual cause of death can be known in the autopsy report.
