NAOGAON: A motorcyclist and another one who was on board were killed as a truck crushed them in Patnitola upazila of Naogaon Friday noon (April 20).

The deceased were identified as Malek, 50, and Toimur Rahman, 42, residents of Pajorvanga village under Manda upazila.

Patnitola Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mazharul Islam told Banglanews that a truck hit the motorcycle in Belghoria area at the noon, leaving the duo critically injured.

Locals rescued them and rushed to Patnitola upazila health complex where the on-duty physician pronounced them dead.  

The bodies were kept at the morgue of Naogaon Sadar Hospital for autopsies, added the OC.
