DHAKA: The investigation agency of International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) finalized the report on three persons from Lakhai of Habiganj, on accusation of crimes committed during the Liberation War in 1971.

ICT confirmed the progress at a press briefing at its probe body office in Dhanmondi Wednesday (March 21). 

The three accused are—Shafi Uddin Maolana, 80, Tajul Islam, 80 and Jahed Mia, 62.

It was stated in the probe report that one Idris Mia was abducted from his house and killed after torturing during the war in 1971.

However, two of the accused excluding Shafi Uddin Maolana are now in jail.

The report will be submitted to the prosecution soon, said the ICT probe body.
