DHAKA: Detective Branch (DB) of police detained four persons for illegally possessing fake Indian currency worth RS 30 lakhs in city.

Masudur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner (Media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) told Banglanews on Monday morning (March 19) that they detained four smugglers with fake currency, and tools to produce it, in drives conducted in different areas of the city on Sunday night (March 18).

Details will be given in a press briefing at DMP media center, he said.
