DHAKA: Gold prices have dropped again up to Tk 1,283 per bhori in Bangladesh for the second time in one and a half months interval.

The last time gold price went up in January 25 this year. 

The revised price for gold will be effective from Monday (Mar 19), Bangladesh Jewellers Samity (BJS) announced it on Sunday (March 18). 

As per the new chart, price of 22-karat gold per bhori (11.664 grams) reduced by Tk 1,283, 21-karat gold per bhori by Tk 1,224, 18-karat gold by Tk 1,030 and traditional gold per bhori by Tk 991.

The BJS release also added that the price of per bhori silver has been remain unchanged at Tk 1,050.
