DHAKA: An unidentified young man was stabbed to death on the roof of a train of Karnaphuli Express of Dhaka-Chittagong route.

The deceased was earlier found critically injured with stab wounds on the train roof, at the platform-2 of Dhaka Airport Railway Station at around 08:45pm Saturday (February 24). 

Several youths, in assistance from the station master, rushed him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). Physicians at the hospital pronounced him dead afterwards.

DMCH Police Outpost In-Charge Sub-Inspector (SI) Bacchu Mia said that several stab marks were found on the body including head and chest.

Dhaka Railway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Easin Faruq said that the incident is being investigated.
