2 burnt in Savar gas leak fire

SAVAR (DHAKA): Two persons sustained burn injuries after a house caught fire at Shahibagh area in Savar, on the outskirts of the capital city Monday (February 19).
 
Local sources said that the fire originated from a leaked gas line during lighting a cigarette. 

The injured--Romana, 32, and Roton, 32--were taken to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH). 

Doctors said they are in critical condition. Nearly 75% of their bodies are burnt. 

Meanwhile, Ifran, a 3-year-old kid was scalded from hot water at Rajfulbaria area of Savar. He was admitted to Enam Medical College and Hospital.

Sub-Inspector (SI) Soumen Mitra of Savar Model Police Station told Banglanews that they have visited the two spots.
