DHAKA: The United Kingdom has lifted the ban on direct cargo flights from Bangladesh.

UK high commissioner in Bangladesh Alison Blake made the announced at press conference at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Sunday (February 18).

Civil Aviation and tourism Minister AKM Shahjahan Kamal and Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh member Mostafizur Rahman were present athe time. 

The UK banned direct air cargo shipment from Dhaka to London in March 2016 citing security reasons.
