DHAKA: An unidentified youth receives bullet injury at Merul Badda fish market area of the city around 1:00pm on Saturday (February 17).

Badda Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kazi Wazed Ali said that a man with arms was held from the spot, after the incident.

The injured was clothed in jeans trousers and checked shirt. Police are trying to establish the identity of the youth.

Residential surgeon of the emergency unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) Dr Alauddin said that the youth is in critical condition. He has been sent to the department of neurosurgery.
