SIRAJGANJ: Two children drowned in Korotoa River in Ullapara upazila of Sirajganj Friday (February 16).

The deceased were identified as Ahad and Rashidul, from Panchkroshi union under Ullapara. They both were three years old and uncle-nephew in relation.

Panchakroshi Union Parishad Chairman Md Firoz Ahmed told Banglanews that the children fell from the Ghatina Bridge over Korotoa River, while playing there in the evening.

Later, one Sunil Kumar, a fisherman, found the bodies floating in the river at Palpara area. He recovered the bodies in assistance with the locals.
