MADARIPUR: The ferry service on the Kathalbari-Shimulia route in Madaripur remained suspended from early hours on Monday (January 22) due to the dense fog.
The service on the route came to halt from about 2:00 am to avoid any untoward incident.
Assistant manager of Kathalbari-Shimulia route Md Ruhul Amin confirmed the matter to the Banglanews.
Many ferries were stranded in the middle of the river.
