CHITTAGONG: Two workers were killed after falling from separate under construction buildings in Oxygen and Tigerpass Batali hill area in Chittagong on Sunday (January 21).

The deceased were identified as Chandan Pal, 30, and Abdur Rahman, 45, son of one Nur Ahmed, hailed from Cox’s Bazar’s Kutubdia.

According to Khulshi police station sources, Chandan Pal fell from a seven-storey building while painting walls in Tigerpass Batali hill area. He was rushed to hospital where duty-doctor declared him dead. 

On the other hand, Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) police outpost ASI Alauddin told Banglanews that Abdur Rahman fell from a three-storey building. Later he was rescued to DMCH where doctor pronounced him dead.
