DHAKA: A woman was run over by a bus at Malibagh area of the city on Saturday (January 20).

The deceased was identified as Runa, 32, wife of Bacchu Miah, also mother of two children. The accident took place at 9 am.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) Pralay Kumar Saha of Rampura Police Station told Banglanews that the body was sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue.

The bus was seized but the driver and helper were on the run.
