FARIDPUR: Two motorcyclists were killed and another was injured as their motorcycle hit a covered van on Dhaka-Khulna Highway in Faridpur Thursday night (January 18).

The deceased were identified as Russel Talukder, 21, and Rimon Mondal, 18; both hailed from the sadar upazila.

Rabby Sarder, 20, the injured has been admitted to Faridpur Medical College Hospital (FMCH).

Karimpur Highway Police Sub-Inspector Nizamul Islam told Banglanews that the motorcycle hit a covered van after losing control, on the highway at Karimpur area at around 9:30am, leaving the duo dead and another injured.

The bodies were kept at FMCH for autopsies.
