COX’S BAZAR: A man allegedly committed suicide after killing his wife and two children with poison in Cox’s Bazar on Wednesday (January 17).

Police recovered four bodies from a house in Jajirampur hill area in Guldighirpar of Cox’s Bazar town around 7:00pm Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as Sumon, his wife Baby Chowdhury and two kids Antika and Arpita. 

Cox’s Bazar sadar police station officer-in-charge (OC) Ranjit Barua told Banglanews that Sumon committed suicide after poisoning her family members to death. However, the reason behind the incident is yet unknown.
