MAGURA: An Indian national was killed and four others injured as a microbus overturned on Dhaka-Khulna Highway in Magura sadar upazila Sunday (December 17).

The accident happened at around 6:00am.

The deceased were identified as Ilam.

The injured-- Faisal, 36, Altaf, 45, Raja, 32, and Rahmat Ali, 25 --were admitted to Magura 250-bed hospital. 

Raja told Banglanews that they were en route to India, on the microbus. It overturned after losing control, leaving Ilam dead on the spot and injured others, at Bhitsair area on the highway. 

A case will be filed over the accident, said Magura sadar police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Mirajul Islam.
