4 bikers killed in Jamalpur road crash

JAMALPUR: Four young men were killed as a truck hit their motorcycles in Melandoho upazila of Jamalpur Saturday evening (December 16).

The deceased were identified as Mamun, 25, Anwar Hossain, 24, Saiful, 32, and Jahangir Alam, 32.

Quoting the locals, Melandoho Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mazaharul Karim told Banglanews that a Jamalpur-bound truck hit the two bikes the four youths were riding en route to Islampur, after losing control on Islampur-Dewanganj Road in Meghabari area at around 6:00am.

Three of them died on the spot and Jahangir succumbed to his injuries while was being taken to Jamalpur General Hospital.
