2 bodies recovered in Savar: 1 held

SAVAR, DHAKA: Police on Saturday (December 16) recovered the bodies of a housewife and a youth from two separate places at Ashulia in Savar, on the outskirts of the capital city.

The body of housewife was recovered from Zirabo area, while the youth’s body was recovered from a jungle at Yearpur area.

The housewife was identified as Morzina Begum, daughter of Islamail Hossin of Gorabot village under Dumuhat police station in Naogoan. She is wife of Siddik Hossain, a resident of Kulondabagh area of Jamgora at Ashulia.

On the other hand, the identity of the youth could not be known immediately.

Police, however, detained Siddik Hossain, said Abdul Awal, officer-in-charge (OC) of Ashulia Model Police Station.
