BAGERHAT: Two people were killed and two others injured as a bus hit a pickup van on Khulna-Bagerhat Highway in Dhorer Bridge area of Bagerhat Saturday (December 16).

The deceased were identified as Al Amin, 28, and Mizan, 38, both from Baherhat sadar upazila. 

The two injured includes the pickup van driver-- Masum, 41, from Deypara area of the upazila. 

Bagerhat Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) KM Azizul Haque told Banglanews that total four people including the pickup van driver were injured in the accident.

They were taken to Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) where two of them succumbed to injuries.
