GAZIPUR: Police recovered the throat-silt body of a security guard of a mosque in Gazipur City Corporation on Thursday (December 14).

The deceased was identified as Abdul Motaleb, 65, son of Tomij Uddin Mondol, hailed from Fulbaria upazila under Mymensingh.  

Police and local sources said that in Fajr prayer, locals found Abdul Motaleb’s body near in the mosque.

On report, Joydebpur police recovered the body at 9: 30 am. 

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Joydebpur police station Md.Aminul Islam said the body was sent to Gazipur Shahid Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College and Hospital morgue.

Police are investigating the case, the OC added.
