DHAKA: Three persons died of drinking liquor in city’s Mugda area on Wednesday (December 13).

The deceased were identified as Abdur Rahman, 35, Sohel, 18, and Jamal, 32. Abdur Rahman and Sohel were brother in-laws in relation.

Mugda police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Enamul Haque said that three of them fell sick after drinking liquor at night. 

Sohel was admitted to Mugda Hospital where he breathed his last at 3 am.

Meanwhile, Abdur Rahman died at night and Jamal in the morning on Thursday (December 14) during treatment at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).

The bodies were sent to DMCH for post mortem examination. 

However, Abdur Rajjak, Abdur Rahman’s younger brother, filed a case of unnatural death in police station, the OC said.
