PANCHAGARH: Two people including a child were killed as a bus and truck collided in Mandulpara area of Tetulia upazila in Panchagarh on Tuesday morning (Dec 12).

The deceased were identified as truck worker Amirul Islam Dhepa, 25, son of one late Chantu Mohammad of Dangapara village under Bhajanpur union and Emon, 3, son of one Bilwal Hossain of Khutagocha village of the upazila.

Witnesses said the accident took place around 10:00am on Tetulia-Panchagarh highway leaving several passengers of the two vehicles injured. 

On information, Tetulia Fire Service, Highway police and local BGB rescued the injured. Two of them died on way to hospital.

Tetulia highway police station sub-inspector (SI) Selim Hossain confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
