DHAKA: The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has arrested the Executive Engineer of Civil Aviation Asir Uddin in a corruption case.

A team led by ACC director Sayed Iqbal arrested him in front the Civil Aviation office in Dhaka on Tuesday morning (Dec 12).

ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattachariya told Banglanews that Acc filed a case against Asir Uddin back in May for accumulating Tk 2.5 crore by illegal means.

Pranab further said Asir was facing allegations of building two luxurious houses in Uttara area.
