PM leaves for Paris Monday

DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to leave here Monday (December 11) for France to attend the One Planet Summit.

The Summit will be held in Elysee Palace of Paris, on Tuesday (December 12).

A flight of Emirates Airlines carrying the Prime Minister and the members of her entourage will depart Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the morning. 

The premier is scheduled to reach at Charles De Gaulle International Airport in Paris at 7.30pm local time. 

Bangladesh Ambassador in France Kazi Imtiaz Hossain will receive her at the airport. 

From the airport the Prime Minister in a ceremonial motorcade will be taken to Intercontinental Paris Le Grand (Opera) where she will be staying during the visit.

Sheikh Hasina will attend the High Level Segment of the One Planet Summit at La Seine Musicale, on Tuesday evening. 

She is expected to hold meeting with France President Emmanuel Macron at Elysee Palace on Tuesday morning. She will also join a lunch to be hosted by French President for the Heads of State/Government, Co-organizers and VIPs of the Summit at Elysee Palace.

She is scheduled to depart Paris on Wednesday evening (December 13) and reach home on Thursday afternoon (December 14).
