DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina pledged that not a single house of the country will remain in darkness in lack of electricity, by 2021.

She, however, said that her government will provide each & every house with electricity by 2021.

The premiere made the remark while addressing the annual conference of the CMP Core at Savar Cantonment Thursday (November 23).

“We are striving to develop villages too. Earlier we declared to build Bangladesh a digital country. Bangladesh is now a digital one. It will achieve further progress.”

Speaking about Rohingya crisis, she said, “Though Rohingyas have taken shelter in Bangladesh and we allowed them to stay here on humanitarian grounds, but efforts are underway to send them to Myanmar.”

“Myanmar must take back their citizens. The world stands by Bangladesh upon the issue,” Sheikh Hasina added.
