KURIGRAM: At least three people were killed in a road accident at Nageshwari upazila in Kurigram on Monday (November 20).

The deceased were, identified as Motaleb Hossain, 35, Sohel Rana, 35, and Sujon Mia, from Masul Khamar village of Nageshwari municipality.

The accident took place at about 10:00 am on Nageshwari-Bhurungamari Highway at Patari Mosque Point of Beparihat area as a motorcycle crashed into a tree after losing control.

The bike was coming from Bhurungamari.

Two bike riders died on the spot while another who was driving the bike died on his way to hospital. Suhel Rana died on the way to the Nageshwari Upazila Health Complex.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Nageshwari Police Station Afzalul Islam told Banglanews that police were sent to the spot to recover the bodies.
