DHAKA: A woman and her son were slaughtered by miscreants in the city on Wednesday (November 01).

The gruesome killing incident took place at a residence located opposite of the Wills Little Flower School & College in city’s Kakrail.

The ill-fated mother and the son were found lying in the residence.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Ramna police station Kazi Mainul said that on information, the visited the spot and recovered the bodies from fifth floor of the six-storied building.

The deceased were identified as Shamsunnahar Karim, 46, wife of Abdul Karim, and her son Shaon, 19.
