Pilot Sabbir put on 7-day remand

DHAKA: A Dhaka court has granted seven days remand to Sabbir Enam, first officer of Bangladesh Biman who was arrested on Oct 31 over plane sabotage plot.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ahsan Habib granted the remand after RAB applied for 10-day remand showing Sabbir arrest in a sabotage case filed with Darussalam police station. 

Moreover, court also granted six days remand to other two accused Asifur Rahman Asif and Md. Alam and five days remand to another Sultana Parvin.

RAB legal and media wing senior associate director ASP Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

Earlier on Oct 31, Law enforcers have arrested pilot Sabbir Enam of Biman Bangladesh Airlines along with three others for their involvement in militant activities and plotting sabotage with the airplane from Darussalam area of Mirpur in Dhaka.
