JESSORE: Police have cordoned off a house at Pagladaho village in Jessore sadar upazila suspecting it a militant hideout. 

Jessore Sadar Model Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) KM Ajmal Huda told Banglanews that law enforcers encircled the house from Monday evening (Oct 23).

Jessore District Superintendent of Police (DC) Anisur Rahman told reporters that police have information on huge amount of explosives and grenades that are being stored in the house. 

Police personnel have taken position around the house and lit up the surroundings with powerful search lights. 

Earlier, Police detained a woman and a child during a drive in a suspected militant den in Jessore.
