DHAKA: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained five members of a mugging and extortionist circle in a drive conducted in city’s Tikatuli area on Saturday night (October 21).

RAB Legal and Media Wing Senior Assistant Director ASP Mizanur Rahman said they seized seven passports and bank checks belonging to Malaysian passengers from the detainees. 

The details will be given in a press briefing later, said ASP Mizanur Rahman.
