DHAKA: The Election Commission (EC) sat in a dialogue with the representatives of some 33 monitoring bodies Sunday (October 19), as part of their preparations ahead of the 2018 national parliamentary polls.

The discussion began at the EC Meeting room, around 11:05am. 

Participated by the representatives of the observatory bodies, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda presided over the discussion.

The EC will end its series of dialogues by sitting with the election experts Tuesday (October 24) followed by women leaders Monday (October 23). 
 
Meanwhile, dialogues were held with the representatives of civil society, mass media and some 40 political parties.
