SAVAR, DHAKA: Police recovered the hanging body of an elderly man from his own house at Hemayetpur area under Tetul Jhora union of Savar-on the outskirts of Dhaka on Wednesday (October 18).

The deceased was identified as Falu Miah, 98, hailed from Savar.
 
Locals said they have reported the matter to police after discovering his body in the morning. Afterwards, police sent the body to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) for post-mortem examination.

Savar Model Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Kabir Mia told Banglanews that two persons have been detained for questioning over the incident.

Police are investigating the case, even a case will be filed soon in this connection, the SI added.
