DHAKA: Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) will abide by the High Court order properly in removing garbage as per given time frame.

DSCC Mayor Sayeed Khokan came up with the remark on Monday (October 16) while inaugurating development work of Dania Union, an area newly added to the DSCC.

“The High Court order to remove garbage-laden vehicles within the time frame between 10 pm and 6 am will be followed.” 

The mayor also said, “The staff or cleaners, if found guilty of violating laws, will be punished.”  

Presided over by DSCC Chief Executive Officer Khan Mohammad Bilal, the event was attended, among others, by Chief Engineer of DSC Farazi Shahabuddin Ahmed and Project Director Borhan Uddin.
