DHAKA: The High Court has directed authorities concerned to block gateway links of all online based suicide games including the much-hyped Blue Whale game that has been allegedly linked to deaths of several children worldwide.

An HC bench comprising Justices Moinul Islam Chowdhury and ABM Hasan passed the order on Monday (Oct 16) after hearing a writ seeking to block all the Blue Whale links on local internet.

Recently, some three to four injury reports unearthed in the capital in last few days following playing the online-based game that enforces the gamer to commit suicide and other injurious attempts.
