COX’S BAZAR: At least four Rohingya refugees, including three children, were trampled to death and two others were injured at Ukhiya upazila in Cox’s Bazar on Saturday (October 14).

The incident took place at makeshift Balukhali Rohingya refugee camp in the hills at Ukhiya upazila.

Additional superintendent of police (ASP) of Cox’s Bazar Afzurul Haque confirmed the mater to the media. He said that the injured were rescued and admitted to the Ukhiya Upazila Health Complex.

A similar incident took place on September 18 that left two Rohingya men.
