GAZIPUR: Fire Service diving team recovered the body of a worker from Turag River in Tongi town of Gazipur on Wednesday night (October 11).

The deceased was- Manik Miah, 28, son of Rahim Uddin, from Hatibandha upazila of Lalmonirhat. 
 
Tongi Fire Service diver Md. Zahir Uddin told Banglanews that Manik went missing after going for bath in Turag River at Cheragali area of Tongi on Wednesday evening.
 
On information, the diving team recovered him at around 10:30 pm from the river.  

Later, the body was handed over to the deceased’s family through police interference, the diver added.
