Bangladeshi shot dead by BSF men in Thakurgaon

THAKURGAON: Indian Border Security Force (BSF) gunned down a Bangladeshi cattle trader on Dabri border of Thakurgaon on early Monday (Sep 25).

The deceased was identified as Abdur Razzak, son of Abdus Sobhan, from Badambari Sarkar Bosti village of Baliadangi upazila in Thakurgaon.
 
It is known that a group of cattle traders went to India to bring cattle at mid night. BSF members chased them and shot three rounds of bullets. Abdur Razzak was shot to death on the spot, while others fled away.
 
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Thakurgaon Battalion-30 commander Lieutenant Colonel Khademul Basher said that one person was killed inside Indian border. The matter is being investigated to identify whether the deceased is a Bangladeshi national or not.
