DHAKA: The police on Monday (September 25) are also conducting drive against the unruly vehicles to prevent wrong side plying.

Visiting different areas in the city, it was seen that police began the drive in the morning.

Joint commissioner (traffic) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) is leading the drive at Bijoy Sarani area in the city. The drive began at about 9:00 am.  

Police filed 12 cases against the vehicles for violating traffic rules till 11:00 am. Police also fined some vehicles for plying the wrong side of the city road.

The drive against the wrong side driving was conducted also on Sunday (September 24) in different parts of the city.
