DHAKA: A young man was crushed under the wheel of a train while taking selfie in Kuril Biswa Road area of Dhaka Friday (September 22).

The deceased was identified as Sadikul, 24, a driver and a resident of Mohammadpur, hailed from Dohar area of Dhaka.

Witnesses said that a Dhaka-bound train of Balaka Express hit Sadikul while he was busy in taking selfies sitting on the rail track, leaving him spot-dead.

However, police recovered the body and handed over to the deceased’s family, said Dhaka Railway Police Station Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Rabiullah.
