NAOGAON: Two motorcyclists were killed and three others injured as a bus hit them at Barunkandi area of Naogaon-Rajshahi Highway in Naogaon Saturday (September 23).

The deceased were identified as—Sohel Rana, 28, son of Abuds Jabber in Ikrtara village and Masud Parvez, 27, son of Abdus Sattar in Barunkandi village under Naogaon Sadar upazila.

The injured couldn’t be identified immediately.

Naogaon Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Towriqul Islam told Banglanews that Sohel and Masud were en route to Naogaon town in the morning.

A bus crashed their motorcycle, leaving the duo spot-dead while the bus helper and two pedestrians were injured.

The injured were taken to a local hospital, added the OC.
