CHITTAGONG: A youth was electrocuted to death as he tried to charge his cell phone at Alinagar area of Bayazid thana in Chittagong city on Wednesday night (September 20).

The deceased was identified as Md.Rajib, 25, from Comilla.

ASI Md. Alauddin Talukdar of District Police Medical Team-1 told Banglanews that Rajib was seriously injured when plugging in his cell phone charger.

He was taken to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.
