GAZIPUR: Police recovered the unidentified body of a man hands and legs tied from Tetuibari area under Gazipur City Corporation on Wednesday (September 20).

The approximated 35-year old man was put on shirt and trousers in black and white.

Sub-Inspector (SI) of Joydebpur Police Station Md. Harun or Rashid told Banglanews that locals informed police as they had seen the body lying beside Chondra-Nabinagar road of Tetuibari area.

Police went to the spot and recovered the body hands and legs tied and towel was wrapped around neck at around 12:00 am.

Later, the body was sent to Gazipur Shahid Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

Police were trying to identify the deceased. A case will be filed in this regard, the SI said.
