Youth killed in Savar road crash

SAVAR: A young man was killed as two vehicles collided face-to-face at Amin Bazar area of Savar on the outskirts of the capital city Wednesday (September 20).

The deceased was identified as Shanto Hossain, 22. 
 
Locals said that a pick-up van rammed into a Leguna (local human hauler) in front of Kofil Pump Station at Amin Bazar, leaving three people injured, in the morning.

They were rushed to Enam Medical College Hospital in Savar.

Later, one of the injured succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital.

On information, family members took his body from there. 

Savar Model Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Nazmul Hasan Khan told Banglanews that police visited the spot and seized the two vehicles.

A case will be filed in this regard, added the SI.
