PABNA: At least five people were killed in a head-on collision between two buses at Sujanagar upazila of Pabna Tuesday (August 22).

Besides, several others were injured in the accident that happened at around 09:45am.

Madhabpur Highway Police Station In-Charge Sub-Inspector (SI) Anwar told Banglanews that a Dhaka-bound bus of Shyamoli Paribahan collided with a bus of Saddam Paribahan at Shibpur Chinakhar area of Sujanagar, leaving the five people spot-dead. 

The injured were taken to nearby hospitals.

However, they couldn’t be identified immediately, added the SI.
