TANGAIL: Rail communications of the country’s northern and southern parts with Dhaka and other parts were snapped as a rail bridge at Kalihati upazila of Tangail affected by the heavy flow of floodwater.

Tangail Gharinda Rail Station Master Jalal Uddin told Banglanews that the rail links were halted due to guarder collapse of Pouli Rail Bridge in Kalihati.

However, the rail links are supposed to be restored on Monday (August 21), sources said.
