GAZIPUR: Two youths suspected of theft were killed in a lynch-mob beating at Banastry area under Kapasia upazila in Gazipur on Saturday (August 19).

Another was also injured critically in the incident that took place at noon.  

One of the deceased was identified as Alam Mia, 30, son of Motaleb Mia of Bhairab upazila in Kishoreganj. Another deceased is approximated 35-year old youth.

Sub-inspector (SI) of Kapasia police station Jahirul Islam told Banglanews that the three persons were lynched at Banastry area, as the locals suspected them that they are thief. The people were crossing the area with cattle with a cavard van.
