CHITTAGONG: Three people were killed as a truck rammed into a motorcycle in Akbar Shah area of Chittagong early Friday (August 18).

The deceased were identified as—Kamrul islam, 27, Nizam, 32, and Rezaul, 30.  

Akbar Shah Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Alamgir Mahmud told Banglanews that a truck hit the motorcycle at Ispahani C-Gate area at early hours of Friday, leaving Nizam and Rezaul dead on the spot and injured Kamrul.

Kamrul was rushed to the hospital where on-duty physicians declared him dead, said Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) Police Camp Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Alauddin Talukder.

However, the truck driver and the helper were detained after the accident.
