BANDARBAN: Road Communication between Bandarban and other parts of the country snapped as the whole area went under water due to onrush of hilly water and incessant rain in the past three days.

Incessant rain inundated the roads of Bandarban-Rangamati and Bandarban-Chittagong causing a halt in communication and sufferings to people on Tuesday (July 25).

Earlier on Sunday (July 23), landslide in Bandarban-Ruma road halted road communication. From Tuesday morning, communications between Bandarban, Lama, Alikadam have also stopped.      

Many areas under different upazilas in the district were submerged, damaging cropland and leaving people marooned. Moreover, many people are still missing in Landslides.
