GAZIPUR: Police rescued Abdur Rahim, a record-keeper at Gazipur District Judge court, from Tongi Sunday night (July 23), a day after his abduction.

Gazipur Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Sakhawat Hossain told Banglanews that Rahim’s daughter Roman Irin filed a case with Joydebpur police station Sunday over the abduction.   
 
Afterwards, drives were conducted in different parts of Gazipur and Uttara to rescue him.
 
At one stage, Abdur Rahim was rescued from Tongi at 10:30am.

Earlier on Saturday (July 22), Rahim was abducted at around 05:00pm on his way back home.
